About the Perfecting Touch-Up
A perfecting touch-up is performed 4–6 weeks after the initial appointment. As the skin heals, pigment fades up to 50% and some areas may not retain pigment evenly. This follow-up session is essential to refine shape, reinforce color, and ensure lasting results.

No. The perfecting touch-up is a separate appointment with a separate fee, scheduled 4–6 weeks after the initial session.
Does permanent makeup hurt?
Most clients report minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure to keep you comfortable. Most describe the sensation as light scratching or pressure rather than pain.
What is the healing process like?
Brows will appear darker and more defined for the first few days, then soften significantly as they heal, fading up to 50%. Light flaking is normal during the first 7 to 10 days. Full healing takes 4 to 6 weeks, which is when your perfecting touch-up is scheduled.
How do I know which PMU service is right for me?
It depends on your skin type, natural features, and the look you want. During your appointment or a free consult, Tara evaluates your skin and recommends the service that will heal best and last longest for you.
